We have seen an increase in our need for social emotional learning, and these books are a great tool for us to use. As counselors, we have placed our books in our SEL library. This library is available to all students and staff as a resource. The students have loved coming in and finding a great book to read. \r\n\r\nWe have also used our books for small group and classroom lessons! We have dozens of small groups running throughout the school year. These books have provided great lessons on understanding emotions, spreading kindness, and understanding the world around us. Many students see themselves within these stories. We have also used them for whole class guidance lessons. Students have loved hearing these books read aloud and making connections.\r\n\r\nWe can't wait to continue to grow our library and hope to continue building our program.
