These new seating options have created a more comfortable and student-centered learning environment, giving my students the freedom to choose the space that helps them focus best. We have limited space and these fit so well.\r\n\r\nStudent love the stools because they can fit at the table and aren't crammed together, which helps them concentrate, while others prefer the softer flexible chairs that make reading and independent work more inviting. These materials have helped me tailor lessons to different learning styles, offer extra practice where needed, and bring fresh, creative activities into the classroom. Your donation truly makes a daily difference, and I'm deeply grateful for the opportunities it has opened for my students.\r\n\r\nStudents have been especially excited by the interactive components of the new materials. They love that learning feels more like exploration, and several students who are typically quiet in class have really blossomed with the digital activities. One student in particular, who often hesitates to participate during whole-group lessons, has become noticeably more engaged when using the new resources—eager to share answers and even help classmates.","fullyFundedDate":1755173626975,"projectUrl":"project/tpt-for-4th-grade-me/9580374/","projectTitle":"TPT for 4th Grade & Me","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. C","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp1043916_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1453926211425","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/megancarter"},{"teacherId":1043916,"projectId":9545903,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for the donations to our classroom. It was also wonderful to have headphone for the students when we used Chromebooks.\r\n\r\nI think their favorite part of this project was the books! They loved seeing which mystery books we would get off their wishlist. The Who Would Win Books were so well received and the class cheered out loud when I opened them. I loved that they felt apart of the project!\r\n\r\nI look forward to starting more project with materials and books that the students have requested we have in the classroom. They are scouring their books now for interesting facts so they can each print more artifacts from the past. The best part was the excitement in their faces when I told them they could keep whatever they printed.\r\nWe started by finding the 7 modern wonders of the world and then the 7 ancient wonders of the world and printed most of those. The best part is whatever they find it ends up being part of our sixth grade curriculum in World History. I have had to limit the projects only by the print time because getting 31 projects printed has taken our wonderful 3D printer all night most nights to get finished. \r\nThank you for donating to our project and getting this 3D printer into our classroom. It has really made history come alive. We lined up our projects chronologically and that in itself was an eye-opening experience for the students to realize that some of these great engineering masterpieces were created thousands of years ago.\r\nThank you again for bringing history alive for my students and all 165 sixth grades at our school. I received personal scales, lamination paper, and everyday use items like ink pens, markers and notebooks.\r\n One of the items with the largest impact for my class are the smaller personal scales. We will be using them for the first time this week. Last year, I had to borrow scales and it was difficult to plan with the teachers I borrowed from due to them teaching the same thing at the same time. This week, 3 each group will have their own scale and we can spend more time being accurate with our measurement in weighing different matter. \r\n Ink pens, while a small item, have been very useful in helping my students improve their penmanship. The pens purchased flow very smooth and students are used to pencils which do not flow as smoothly. The kids feel a sense of accomplishment and see an improvement in their writing. \r\n I received items that will be used daily for my classes, lamination, markers and notebooks. Lamination is something every class uses every year. By laminating items we are able to easily reuse them from year to year. It is nice this year to be able to eliminate some of my costs due to lamination. The notebooks and markers are useful at this time of year because we used the ones we started with by now and we can replenish with this new supply.\r\n Thank you so much for your generous donations that help teachers like me keep our classrooms running smother.","fullyFundedDate":1733925374814,"projectUrl":"project/science-experiments-and-supplies-for-the/8648315/","projectTitle":"Science Experiments and Supplies for the Year, Weigh Your Options","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Burgoyne","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3839583_orig.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1642729131877","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3839583"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_107674","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1111,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":9,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":80,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":11,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_SMALL"},"inStateSupporters":71.7,"schoolId":107674,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Dry Creek Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Dry Creek Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/utah/alpine-school-district/dry-creek-elementary-school/107674"}
