My kindergarteners will use the headphones while using the Chromebooks to practice academic skills and take online assessments. Most times, my kindergarteners have a hard time staying focused on their assignments because we currently do not have headphones. Sometimes I see some students leaning forward, closer to their Chromebook's speakers, in order to hear directions. This is due because those students not in Chromebooks tend to get loud while they work independently thus disturbing those who are working on their assignments on the Chromebook. Individual headphones will help students stay focused on their assignments, while making them feel confident and relaxed because they are focusing on one task only. The headphones I am requesting to help my kids will improve our classroom environment and students' work. My goal is to help my students feel relaxed by giving them a better opportunity to stay focused on their online task without listening to what they rest of the class is saying. Please help me achieve this goal for my students.
