They are more confident in selecting books that they are able to read and that look like the same books that their peers are selecting. They no longer feel left out of reading the latest and greatest chapter books. We were able to replace old scratched up boards, allowing the students to have clearer writing to present. With young ones, caps do not always get replaced, so markers dry out faster than they should. Spelling and writing practice is less stressful when we aren't constantly trying to find working materials. \r\nThe students love when it's time to pull out the markers and white boards. Something so small makes learning more exciting. The students have loved being able to raise up their boards and show their work. The more they practice their spelling, the stronger they have become in every day writing, building confidence.
