The kindergarten students have enjoyed learning how to program them. They have been allowed to experiment with them to find out how algorithms work. They have also turned Botley into a soccer play and they had to program him to push a ball into the goal. The final challenge they have completed included programming Botley to push as many snow balls (cotton balls) that they could off a mat. This was a perfect activity that came right after we missed 2 days of school due to a blizzard.\r\n\r\nThe young students having the opportunity to program Botley, will definitely help them transition into coding more advanced robots in the future. This robot was just what my class needed to build onto their current coding knowledge in order to help them move on to the next level.
