We lost valuable instructional time searching for cords, rotating outlets, and managing low batteries. Now, every device has a designated space, stays fully charged, and is ready to go when learning begins.\r\n\r\nThe impact has been immediate and powerful. My students can smoothly transition into digital lessons without delays. Whether they are practicing math skills, strengthening reading comprehension, conducting research, or working on creative writing projects, technology is consistently accessible and dependable. This reliability has increased student engagement, independence, and confidence.\r\n\r\nThe charging cart has also helped build responsibility. Students take ownership of properly returning and plugging in their devices, learning organization, and caring for shared resources. Our classroom runs more efficiently, and we are maximizing every minute of instructional time.\r\n\r\nBecause of this gift, technology is no longer a barrier—it's a bridge. Our students have consistent access to the tools they need to explore, create, and grow. We are deeply grateful for the support that made this possible.","fullyFundedDate":1767727391675,"projectUrl":"project/charging-into-success/9956724/","projectTitle":"Charging Into Success!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Gray","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3102230_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1476392470315","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/arbienelson"},{"teacherId":9785946,"projectId":9937187,"letterContent":"Because of your generosity, our students now have a more organized and inviting classroom library. We used the rolling book cart and bulk plastic book boxes to sort our books by topic and reading level, making it much easier for students to find books that spark their interest. One special moment happened during our independent reading time when students eagerly browsed the cart and boxes to choose their books for the week. With their new book pouch bags, students could safely carry their books between reading areas in our classroom. Watching them proudly share their book choices with friends and talk about what they were excited to read next was such a joyful moment.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the excitement was immediate. Students gathered around as we unpacked the rolling book cart and began organizing the plastic book boxes together. They loved seeing the library come together and were especially excited to have their own book pouch bags to store their books. We also had a great conversation about caring for books, and students were fascinated to see how the book repair tape could help us fix worn pages and covers. It became a wonderful opportunity to teach students how to take pride in and care for the books we share.\r\n\r\nAs we continue using these resources, our focus is on building strong reading routines and encouraging a love of books. Students will rotate books each week using the cart and book boxes, and keep their selections in their book pouch bags for daily independent reading and small-group activities. These resources are helping us create a classroom environment where books are easy to access, well cared for, and truly loved. Thank you for helping make this possible for our Dauphin Island students.","fullyFundedDate":1765933906477,"projectUrl":"project/level-up-our-library-readers-in-the-mak/9937187/","projectTitle":"Level Up Our Library: Readers in the Making","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Litto","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9785946_orig.jpg?crop=1179,1179,x0,y479&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1767730654323","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9785946"},{"teacherId":1041837,"projectId":9701544,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donations in funding our Pets in the Classroom project. I can not begin to tell you how excited my students were to receive their own special pet that sits right on their desks. I actually heard my students \"squeal\" with excitement. With this project, I have been able to use the pets and their \"food\" as an incentive for model behavior, but more importantly, the goal of improving their academics. With each positive behavior and/or attempt to work intently, answer correctly, and actively participate in class, students are awarded \"puff balls\" that can add up to purchasing a new pet or something their pet will enjoy.
