Your generosity created an opportunity for my students to become hands-on scientists, problem-solvers, and caretakers of a living ecosystem—all within our classroom.\r\nAs soon as our materials arrived, students were eager to unpack, sort, and assemble each part of the system. For many, this was their first time seeing how fish and plants can work together to support one another. They tested water quality, monitored plant growth, and made predictions based on real data. Suddenly, words like \"ecosystem,\" \"cycle,\" and \"sustainability\" weren't just vocabulary terms—they were part of their daily routine.\r\nOne student shared, \"I didn't know I could grow food in water. I want to teach my family how to do this at home.\" Other students have mentioned not knowing flowers become fruit when we learned about pollination, or not knowing they like lettuce or mint until they've tried it in class. Moments like this showed us just how powerful hands-on learning can be.\r\nBecause of you, my students gained confidence, curiosity, and a sense of ownership over their learning. You helped make science engaging, authentic, and memorable for every child in our classroom.\r\nThank you for believing in our students and supporting their growth.","fullyFundedDate":1755695565056,"projectUrl":"project/growing-scientists-aquaponics-gardens-f/9597264/","projectTitle":"Growing Scientists: Aquaponics Gardens for 6th Grade Science!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Moehlman","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4425589_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1508014895066","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4425589"},{"teacherId":6648221,"projectId":8502048,"letterContent":"You have made such a positive impact in my classroom!
