We have worked hard and to be able to have a snack really helped our food insecurities. When they first saw the snacks, they couldn't believe it was all for them. I can't tell you how grateful they were to receive them. They even went home to tell their parents that people donated food to the class. During testing, no child was left without breakfast. Our next steps are to enjoy this school year and have a love of reading. They have also written letters of gratitude to Donors Choose for their generosity. I don't know what I would do without Donors Choose.
