In Junior High (and High School), students use Google accounts for their ICT (computer class). In English, we use Google docs/slides/classroom to collaborate with teachers and interact with students. We post assignments and resources for the students. Some of my Autistic students do not have legible handwriting. Therefore, they complete assignments (especially paragraphs and essays) by typing on the computer using Google Docs. Chromebooks in my classroom will provide students with many resources at their fingertips. We also use a computer program called Moby Max, which allows targeted lessons, placement tests, etc. It is used for remediation or reinforcement of a lesson.
