That has helped their comprehension and ability to answer questions about their reading. All of this has been a huge help with their soon to be transition to 3rd grade.\r\n\r\nThe scissors and laminating paper helped my student all publish their very own informational books. Students spent time writing, editing, revising, coloring, and creating pictures with varied materials to create these books. They used their scissors to cut pictures to use as 'real' informational pictures for their books. I was use the laminating sheets to laminate their books to make them official. All of this led to my students have a book reading event where their families were invited to come and listen to them read and show off their books!\r\n\r\nAll of these materials have been a huge benefit for these students and their learning.
