The pictures show how stocked I've been able to keep the care cart. I can definitely tell there are a few students who seek comfort and know I can help them with their hygiene needs. \r\n\r\nOne specific story—I have a female student who lives with dad (mom isn't in the picture) and she started her menstrual cycle. With the items donated, I was able to set her up with a menstrual hygiene kit with items to keep in her backpack. She was so appreciative and I could sense some of the stress and anxiety of it all ease a bit knowing I have things for her whenever she needs. \r\n\r\nI'm teaching an adapted health class with the 12:1:1 group this year. Around Halloween we discussed hygiene. Instead of trick or treating for candy, we did hygiene items instead. As students received the items we talk about how, why and when to use them. Student were very excited to receive these. \r\n\r\nSo thank you again! This wouldn't have been at all possible if it wasn't for you!
