For starters, the chips were integral as positive incentives for our entire student body completing a beginning of the year Reading Assessment. This allowed students to get an accurate depiction of their current literacy levels, as well as create action plans on how to improve their literacy this school year.\r\nThe fidget toys have been a great addition to my Lower Division English classes this year, and students have really used them to both keep them focused and take care of themselves. \r\nThe Flair marker pens have also been an integral part of all my English classes this year. Students have used the pens to create insightful annotations, which were then the basis for analytical writing they've been working on improving this school year.\r\nWe cannot thank you enough for your generosity, and hope for you and yours continued safety and peace.","fullyFundedDate":1756148920485,"projectUrl":"project/harnessing-power-through-literacy/9631906/","projectTitle":"Harnessing Power Through Literacy","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Kim","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1995232_orig.jpg?crop=1111,1111,x470,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1631654383922","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/bkim"},{"teacherId":4764278,"projectId":9082260,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generosity! It is amazing to have new tools and resources in my classroom to engage all learners and create memorable learning experiences.\r\n\r\nThe whiteboards are used for vertical whiteboard group activities. Vertical whiteboards are a powerful tool for encouraging students to think critically, share ideas, and work in teams. They provide a space for students to stand, discuss, and interact with math problems in a way that keeps them engaged and actively involved. Beyond fostering collaboration, these whiteboards also create a calmer learning environment. When students are actively working in groups at vertical surfaces, classroom energy becomes more focused and productive, reducing disruptions and creating a more harmonious atmosphere for learning.\r\n\r\nI have seen the results of this type of group work and cannot wait to do more in my classroom!","fullyFundedDate":1745856885336,"projectUrl":"project/think-big-write-bigger-vertical-whiteb/9082260/","projectTitle":"Think Big, Write Bigger: Vertical Whiteboards for the Math Classroom!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Kara","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4764278_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1513025098010","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mathwithkara"},{"teacherId":10269967,"projectId":9731081,"letterContent":"When the box of books arrived, my students immediately gathered around to help unpack them. They were excited to flip through the new novels, graphic novels, and manga and start deciding what to read first. Having a classroom bookshelf has already made a big difference. It keeps books within arm's reach, so students can easily grab something that interests them in between activities or when they finish their work early.\r\n\r\nEven though our school already has a wonderful library, there's something special about having books right in the classroom. It keeps reading visible and part of our everyday environment. Students have been browsing the shelf during breaks and recommending titles to each other, turning quiet moments into opportunities to connect through stories.\r\n\r\nWe've just begun this new routine, but it's clear that having books close by helps make reading feel more natural and inviting. Thank you for helping create this small but meaningful addition to our classroom; a space that now encourages curiosity, imagination, and a love of reading in the middle of our science day.","fullyFundedDate":1758899298587,"projectUrl":"project/not-just-science-a-library-for-every-re/9731081/","projectTitle":"Not Just Science: A Library for Every Reader","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Jeanine","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10269967_orig.png?crop=447,447,x0,y23&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1758284084013","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10269967"},{"teacherId":1995232,"projectId":8631918,"letterContent":"We are so grateful for your generous donations.
