Thanks to your kindness, our library shelves are now filled with vibrant new graphic novels, biographies, STEM titles, and social-emotional picture books that have completely energized this time.\r\n\r\nMany of our donors are passionate readers who might wonder how we use these specific books to teach. Beyond building basic vocabulary and comprehension, these new texts serve as dynamic tools for critical thinking. With the new biographies and STEM titles, students learn to analyze non-fiction text structures, evaluate primary sources, and make cross-curricular connections between reading, history, and science.
