Your generosity has made such a meaningful difference in our school clinic. The snacks, hygiene products, and essential supplies have allowed me to better meet the everyday needs of my Pre-K through 4th grade Bulldogs. There are times when students come into my clinic hungry because they did not eat breakfast, uncomfortable because they need a personal-care item, or simply needing a safe place to take a moment. Being able to provide a snack or hygiene item may seem like a small gesture, but to a child, it can mean so much. I have seen the relief and happiness on students' faces when they realize that someone is there to help them. These resources have allowed me to support my students with dignity, kindness, and compassion while helping them feel more comfortable throughout their school day.\r\n\r\nThis project has also helped me create the welcoming clinic I always hoped to have. I want my clinic to be more than a place students visit when they are sick or hurt. I want it to feel safe, warm, and welcoming—a place where every student knows they will be listened to, respected, and cared for. When students are hungry, uncomfortable, or worried about a basic need, it can be difficult for them to focus and participate in the classroom. By helping meet those needs, I can help them return to class feeling more confident, comfortable, and ready to learn. Your generosity has allowed me to care for the whole child and remind my students that they are seen, valued, and loved. Thank you for investing in my Bulldogs and helping make our school clinic a place where children can receive not only care, but also comfort and encouragement. I am incredibly grateful for your kindness and for becoming a special part of our Bulldog family. ❤️🐾","fullyFundedDate":1787148213112,"projectUrl":"project/a-safe-place-to-heal-rest-feel-loved/10513465/","projectTitle":"A Safe Place to Heal, Rest & Feel Loved","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Jazz","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10601414"},{"teacherId":9152502,"projectId":10149309,"letterContent":"We have LOVED having this sensory table in our classroom! I have several prizes such as bouncy balls, cars, spinning objects, stickers, bracelets, etc. This DonorsChoose project helped pay for several refills of these prizes!\r\nAnother new aspect of classroom behavior I added this year is letting kids \"tell\" on each others' good behavior. I was having a huge problem with frequent tattles and kids tattling on things that weren't important. So I decided to flip it around and let them tell me when someone is helping another kid, sharing, being kind, etc. My students love to find other kids' making good choices!
