Most students learn better with hands on manipuatives and with your help, my students are able to use what was given to our classroom to help them solve math problems, write and spell words, and learn how their mouths move when saying a sound or word. \r\n\r\nIn first grade, our end goal each year is to have our students add and subtract fluently within 20. They have enjoyed using the dice in dice to work and solve math problems. We were also given ten frames which help those students who are still learning how to add and stubtraction within 10. It is a great visual for them and hands on. \r\n\r\nIn my class, I have nine students who are English Language Learners.
