Nearly every activity I have done thus far has depended on the laminated sheets, pencils, paper, and expo markers that were donated to me through DonorsChoose. \r\n\r\nAs far as the books that were donated to my class, I have yet to have the opportunity to have students choose to read one. Students have noticed them, but there has not been much free time in my class for them to be able to indulge in reading. Our school recently became a bell-to-bell no cell school, so most students also already have their own books to read from our library. I anticipate when state testing comes around, students will have more opportunities to be able to pick up one of my classroom books to read.\r\n\r\nMy next steps as an educator are to continue working through this year's unit/lesson plans and seeing what lessons and activities achieve the highest potential in helping students reach our learning targets.
