There are many of my players that are playing for the first time. By providing them with a pair of batting gloves and a water bottle they will have little to no expense to play. If everyone on the team uses the same gloves and water bottle, then no player has to feel like they can't play because they can't afford those extra items. The lessons learned by playing team sports are valuable the rest of the player's life. Being able to work with others, putting aside personal differences for the benefit of the group, how to overcome adversity, etc. There are many more ways that an individual will grow when they participate in athletics.

About my class
