These donations have helped the students in the classroom in so many ways. For instance, the bins have been used for the students mailboxes in their cubbies, they are able to each have their own color of choice and a place to put their folder. This gives them a sense of purpose and something of their own. They can learn to unpack and pack up with their designated materials in the bin, they are learning to be more independent with this. The magnet tiles were a great addition to the classroom as the students are creating and building all different things like bridges for their cars. These items are helping the students think outside the box and grow in their creative minds. \r\n\r\nThe items that I have received have been the best part of the classroom and giving my students the most I can to help them succeed and achieve the most. The dry erasers and markers are great for all types of materials. The students can trace laminated worksheets and be able to erase on their own giving them self purpose. I am forever grateful for the gifts to be able to help my students grow and learn.","fullyFundedDate":1755700627395,"projectUrl":"project/ms-sams-teaching-team/9499761/","projectTitle":"Ms. Sams teaching team","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Brain","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10093252"},{"teacherId":9424453,"projectId":9100480,"letterContent":"I cannot thank you enough for your generosity in supporting our CES Dance Company through this project! The materials you funded—garment racks, hangers, and laundry bins—have already made such a difference for our young dancers and our program as a whole.\r\n\r\nWe just had our first performance where students used the garment racks and hangers to organize their costumes by name, ensuring everything was wrinkle-free and easy to access. During a practice run of quick costume changes, the new changing tents gave them a space to switch outfits quickly and confidently, which added a layer of professionalism and pride to their preparation.\r\n\r\nThese resources have done more than just keep us organized—they've also given our students a real-world lesson in responsibility and teamwork. Seeing them work together to pack and transport costumes using the laundry bags reminded me of how much these young performers are growing both as dancers and as individuals.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, our next steps include continuing to rehearse for our upcoming spring performances. These materials will ensure every dancer feels prepared to shine under the spotlight, and we'll keep building on these organizational skills as our performances grow in complexity.\r\n\r\nThank you for making this possible. Your support has truly elevated our program and inspired our dancers to give their very best. They couldn't wait to explore the new crayons, paint, and crafting tools. For many of my students, this was their first time using such a wide variety of materials, and their imaginations soared.\r\nOne special moment: during our \"Mothers Day flower Art\" project, a student who often struggles to express himself used finger paint materials to create a flower pot for his mom and proudly shared it with the class. It was a breakthrough in both confidence and connection.\r\nWe're now working on a storytelling art unit, where students create characters and scenes from their favorite books.
