With the new materials and equipment, students are not only learning about the outdoors—they are actively engaging in it, gaining real-world skills, building confidence, and developing a deeper connection to the natural world.\r\n\r\nWe are currently using the new resources during our final unit of the school year. The new vises are a game-changer; they allow each student to have their own individual setup and kit rather than having to share. Tying flies is a wonderful way to educate students on various ecological elements, including insect life cycles, watershed health, and the intersection of ecology and recreation. \r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we are working on a stewardship project, and your support has empowered students to take ownership of their learning and step into their roles as the future conservationists of our community.
