Many students don't see the connection between math and the real world. These Scholastic MATH magazines are a great way for my students to learn how to read math, and see how it is really used in the real world. These monthly magazines would provide a fun, interactive way for my students experience math in a different way, outside of their textbook. We would use a classroom set of these magazines to better our understanding of how to read math, make connections to the real world, and improve our understanding of the content we are learning in class.
