These are books that students want to read, and books at their just right level. When we give children a stage to share their work, we validate their creative expressions. Our third graders especially took advantage of opportunities to check violins out to practice at home. For each at-home practice session students earned a point for their grade level, and our third graders alone earned over 200 points! 4th and 5th grade earned about 90 points each, for a school-wide total of almost 400 points (or 400 practice sessions). And you could hear the difference in students' performances! Thank you for having such a tremendous impact on our students' musical growth.
