The resistance bands you helped fund have already made a tremendous impact on my students and the way they participate in class. From the moment the materials arrived, it was clear this project would spark excitement, motivation, and a deeper connection to fitness for every student involved.\r\n\r\nWhen the box was first opened, students immediately gathered around with wide eyes and eager smiles. There's something about receiving brand-new equipment that feels special to them.. Some began demonstrating exercises they'd seen online or in sports practices, while others asked questions about how we would use them in class. That moment alone reflected how excited they were for the opportunity to build strength in new and fun ways.\r\n\r\nSince then, the resistance bands have become a regular and essential part of our physical education routine. We've used them for warm-ups, cool-downs, strength circuits, and even partner-based team challenges. Students love rotating through stations where they can work different muscle groups using varying levels of resistance. It has allowed all students—regardless of athletic ability—to participate confidently, because the bands offer modifications that make every exercise more accessible.\r\n\r\n\r\nYour support has helped us create a more inclusive and empowering environment where every student feels capable of success. The excitement hasn't worn off, even after many uses. Everything they will need for class: homework, class notes, and worksheets, is in their folders, which you provided. They also received sticky notes for annotating their novels, highlighters, and color pencils. \r\n\r\nYour generosity has assisted me in creating a strong foundation for student success and equity for all of my students. What there is though, are wonderful people that are willing to support the needs of our special children. \r\n\r\nThe opening of the boxes when they arrived to the school was like opening Holiday gifts. The students and staff were so excited. I wish you could see the looks on everyone's faces. The digital clock was a big hit. I have students who are unable to perform pull ups, who are enjoying using the TRX band to do inverted rows and begin a goal of doing their first pull up. Some students are also using the TRX bands to make things like push-ups harder. \r\n\r\nI also have some with previous injuries using the elastic bands to better warm up things like their shoulders.
