Students are finding distance learning a challenge, with six different teachers, many platforms, time-management issues, and distractions at home. They are also under a lot of stress. They need digital curriculum designed to incorporate social emotional learning and lessons designed for learning from home online with their teacher. My project will address the challenges of distance learning by purchasing digital curriculum specifically created for these difficult circumstances. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards will allow me to purchase relevant and engaging material to meet my students' needs Online. The materials and resources I purchase from Teachers Pay Teachers have lessons and units designed to help present new material to students while utilizing routine activities in the beginning units to reduce cognitive load, and then adding new, engaging activities in the following units, while recycling core content in each unit. These digital materials will build students' confidence to acquire the Spanish language during Distance learning.
