I use the rolling desk each and every day. It allows me to move around the room while still keeping my teaching manipulative handy. Also, the draws give me a space to store graded work, missing work, and extra papers the students may need. \r\n\r\nIt is crazy to me that such simple additions into the classroom can effect the functionality in such large ways. My students and I greatly appreciate the donation. They are being used great amounts in our classrooms. These have turned each of the work tables in my classroom into a charging station. With the different robots, Microbits, and iPads that we use on a nearly daily basis, these have become invaluable. Having one at each table also cuts down on the clutter in the room. The LED lights have been great as well. The are great for livening up the classroom and bring a little extra something to help make things fun. The LED lights also help greatly with managing sound control in the classroom. The students know that they are being too loud and/ talking too much by the LED light poles doing certain things when it's loud in the classroom, so they then know that they are being too loud and that they need to quiet down. Thanks again for all your help and generous donations to help make our classroom a more fun learning and working environment.","fullyFundedDate":1734380571642,"projectUrl":"project/computer-class/9005500/","projectTitle":"Computer Class","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Drieling","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7629844_orig.jpg?crop=3024,3024,x510,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1761570903346","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7629844"},{"teacherId":4614266,"projectId":8942075,"letterContent":"My students were very excited about our sewing machines. We are using them to donate items to our local cancer center such as port pillows and neck pillows for cancer patients to receive. We are also making dust covers for teachers to use in their classrooms to protect our technology equipment. A group of students made a photo backdrop cover that we used to spotlight things we are doing in STEM at our school board meeting. In the future, I plan for students to make aprons and pot holders to donate to our local soup kitchen. \r\nSewing is becoming a lost art. My students have an interest in sewing so they were thrilled when we unboxed the machines. Several students can't wait to learn more about sewing.\r\nThank you so much for your generosity of donating to my classroom.
