Each week, I update it with our vocabulary words and examples connected to our current lessons. One meaningful moment was when students began independently checking the board for words we use in class without needing reminders. It has truly helped them stay confident throughout the class. Many students were so proud of how helpful the board has been that they enjoyed giving a short interview to a local USC journalist, sharing how it supports their learning.\r\n\r\nIn the future, students will continue using the rolling whiteboard as a reference during lessons and independent work. I will keep updating it weekly with new information and visual supports to help them stay in the target language. As we move into new units, the board will help students stay engaged, understand new structures, and take more ownership of their learning.","fullyFundedDate":1757704564291,"projectUrl":"project/rolling-into-spanish-a-whiteboard-for-c/9628554/","projectTitle":"Rolling Into Spanish: A Whiteboard for Creative Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Lina Cortes Riddle","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6195248_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755656520624","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6195248"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_6423","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1617,"numTeachers":85,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":6,"percentWhite":81,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":6,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"19.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":76.9,"schoolId":6423,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Chapin High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Chapin High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/south-carolina/lexington-richland-school-district-5/chapin-high-school/6423"}
