A deskless classroom facilitates teaching Proficiency through reading and storytelling and Total Physical Response, which are examples of methods I implement to provide Comprehensible Input. Removing tables free space for more learning options including games, TPR, FVR books, brain breaks, dancing, group work, etc. These activities are based more on speaking and interaction; therefore, items like whiteboards, markers, pencils, and paper are always available for my students to exercise their writing skills. Even though students are great at putting items where they correspond, it is distracting and time-consuming. Also, the fact that the markers, pencils, and the rest of the items seem to disappear, or be out of their place from one class to another has become a problem. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve our learning environment, you will ultimately help to increase students' focus and enhance their organization skills. Students will be able to simply focus on the class and have their materials at hand. These chair pockets will make the transitions from activity to activity a breeze.
