The best part is the number of voluntary readers I have seen in our room!\r\n\r\nI was most excited to see some of my shy students connect with peers over their flexible seating preferences! Thanks to you, our classroom axolotl habitat is beautiful and awesome. Our axolotls, Keef and Lenny, love their home and enjoy exploring. Lenny especially loves the hiding tunnels, and we enjoy watching her peek out at us as we do our classwork.\r\nIt has been really great to have class pets, especially ones a cool and rare as axolotls. Our class has talked about how axolotls are an endangered species and what that means. We have gained an appreciation for rare creatures and a desire to help them thrive in a world that we share.\r\nOur axolotls have become popular throughout the school, and several children of other grades pop in each week to see them.
