My students missed the opportunity to fully experience the benefits these desks offer. However, I was able to assemble two of them for the few students who were still in the classroom, and their reaction was truly heartwarming. They were ecstatic about having their own space and expressed how much they wished we could have had these desks throughout the entire year.\r\n\r\nThe joy of having their own area to keep their belongings within reach made a significant difference for them. They appreciated not needing to raise their hands to ask for permission to access their cubbies. This independence fostered a sense of responsibility over their own space, which they clearly enjoyed.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, I am excited to incorporate these desks at the beginning of the new school year with my incoming students. I eagerly anticipate witnessing their delight as they settle into their own personal spaces. It's rewarding to know that these desks will not only enhance their learning experience but also provide them with a sense of ownership and pride in their environment.
