For several of my newly arrived students, the simple act of being welcomed with a warm drink or a cold lemonade helped ease anxiety and made our classroom feel like a safe, inviting space where they truly belong.\r\nWe are now using these resources during our Cultural Food Share activities, where students bring small portions of traditional foods and practice speaking skills by explaining the history, meaning, or personal significance behind them. The reusable dispensers allow me to serve hot chocolate, water, and lemonade equitably across five class periods, ensuring that all 105 students can participate without any family feeling pressure to provide more than they are able. The cups, plates, utensils, and sanitizer help us maintain a clean, organized, and respectful environment while hosting these meaningful celebrations.\r\nThese experiences go far beyond food. Students are building confidence, strengthening language skills, and learning to listen to and appreciate perspectives different from their own.
