Technology has so many useful features, and I want my students to experience it all. We use technology every day, in the most advanced ways, and I want to show my students how to use it in their everyday endeavors. Technology makes students innovative, and worldly. I've already introduced a few new technology items to our classroom. Learning is no longer just reading and writing, it's applied skills. Technology has so much to offer our students beyond the chrome books. With the iPad, our students will be exposed to the world of Apple, which provides things such as pages, notes, and slides as a new way to present school work. Students become engineers creating and piecing together things on these devices. Each device offers a different experience due to its different software, which makes them more marketable once they've been exposed to different types of software. More importantly, it allows students to become ready for post-secondary education, or the workforce. This helps to teach them beyond the content but allows them to develop real-world skills.
