The supplies are being used to refresh a couple of our projects that are used throughout the year. Rubber bands are used with geo boards to create unique and fun designs and shapes. The bands we have had are old and breaking with each use. Our dot markers have been in a similar shape. These two new sets allow us to remove and replace the broken ones so we can continue to create fun dot projects. \r\nThe older grades often create portrait and self-portrait projects. Since I am art on the cart, it is difficult to transport full-sized mirrors for the students to use, but these small pocket-sized ones will be perfect for our projects. Lastly the speaker is the piece we have been most excited about! I like to share music during the student's worktime, and my computer just is not loud enough to share with the class. Students didn't have many materials to build things with, so getting them super engaged was tough, but we made do with what we had. \r\nThings for this project came here and there, which made it all the better when we opened the packages. I picked certain students to be able to open the packages each week. For each thing, they were so excited to be able to use. \r\nThey most excited for the Legos and the magnetic tiles, to build and make creations on their own.
