My students all have disabilities which impact their performance in reading and writing. They are learning to self-advocate by identifying their strengths and needs. Every day, they work hard to increase their independence. These educational materials from Lakeshore Learning will help my students on their journeys to becoming readers and writers. The products I selected, such as Phonics Interactive Journal will allow my students to become engaged in their one on one learning as well as classroom instruction. The Write and Wipe Sight Word Practice Cards will increase their knowledge of their sight words in a much more appealing way than what may be presented in the general education classroom. Overall, these educational materials will help our confidence soar.
