The students were so excited to have brand new whiteboards. There were lots of oohs and aahs!! \r\n\r\nThe whiteboards allow the students to work collaboratively as well as on their own and I am able to walk around or even scan the room to see their work and thinking. I'm able to give immediate feedback to all students and it lets me see their errors quickly and adjust my teaching if needed. All of the students are engaged and able to answer a question and show me their answer instead of just the couple that I would be able to call on to give an answer out loud. \r\n\r\nThis past week we were sharing what we learned from a lesson on our whiteboards. The students were asked to share what they wrote on their whiteboard with their neighbor. The students then were able to reflect and discuss their new learning. It's a great discussion starter for 2nd graders who are just learning how to truly have a conversation.","fullyFundedDate":1746787054234,"projectUrl":"project/organized-for-success-whiteboards-and-c/9309692/","projectTitle":"Organized for Success: Whiteboards and Cubbies for Collaborative Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Swarer","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-swarer"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_87484","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":390,"numTeachers":20,"percentFrplEligible":60,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":3,"percentWhite":51,"percentIndigenous":12,"percentLatinx":9,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 3","studentTeacherRatio":"19.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":52.7,"schoolId":87484,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Central Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Central Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/oklahoma/coweta-school-district-i-17/central-elementary-school/87484"}
