Students love the fast-paced nature of the game and have been practicing their hand-eye coordination while learning the rules and strategies of table tennis. Many students had never played before, so it has been exciting to watch them develop new skills and confidence as they improve.\r\n\r\nStudents were thrilled when they first saw the new equipment. The gym was buzzing with excitement as they waited for their turn to try disc golf and ping pong. These new games have added variety to our physical education activities and have given students additional ways to stay active and engaged.\r\n\r\nAs we continue using this equipment, students will be practicing skills such as coordination, accuracy, teamwork, and sportsmanship. One of the most exciting moments for the class was working together to build and organize the shelving where our seedlings now grow. Watching the plants begin to sprout has been thrilling for them!\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the excitement in the room was contagious. Students were eager to get their hands in the soil and begin planting. Many of them had never started plants from seeds before, so seeing the tiny sprouts appear has been a powerful learning moment. It has sparked lots of questions about plant life cycles, environmental conditions, and how gardens grow.\r\n\r\nAs our seedlings continue to grow, our next steps will be transplanting them into the outdoor garden beds. Students will continue tracking plant growth, recording observations, and learning how factors like sunlight, water, and soil affect plant development.
