This made my 1st and 2nd graders so excited and happy. They all loved making their soaps. They were able to mix colors, scents, and pour them into their holiday shaped molds. \r\n\r\nThe students were excited to learn about solids and how they can turn to liquids once the solid was heated. This was a fun and easy project for the students as we were able to use minimal tools and our classroom microwave heated the soap base so well! \r\n\r\nThe students each wrapped their soaps the next day and I was able to send them home with all their holiday crafts from the week.
