The students had numerous supplies including a letter fishing puzzle, number matching animals, and a write & reuse handwriting book. All these materials were provided help keep the children busy with educational activities throughout the summer that did not require family support. \r\nYour generous donation provided a beautiful backpack that students transitioning to Kindergarten can use so their families do not have the economic burden of purchasing their own. The students began the project by creating a monster with 3D materials purchased with your generous donations. Once the monster were complete, the teachers created an art display and student then \"purchased\" their favorite artwork using the pretend money. \r\nThis experience helped students learn about an art show, using their money to purchase something they like and giving it to a cashier. Since this project went so well we look forward to recreating it in the spring for another Art Show!
