Second quarter can be very difficult in terms of maintaining calm in my setting and both items contributed to a peaceful classroom during some rough early winter weeks.\r\nMy favorite item that was sponsored was the classroom set of Outsmarting Worry books. So many of my students suffer from anxiety. The 8th graders have already finished reading it. It is an empowering text! I am lookng forward to using it with my 7th grade next! \r\nNo Stress Chess has become a weekly game focus for my caseload and I am excited to see my stuents grow their chess skills.
