Modern research in the field of education supports the idea that students learn best in an autonomy-driven, flexible environment that promotes both a sense of community and individuality at the same time. In order to provide the best classroom experience for my diverse preteen learners, I’m humbly asking for donations to help purchase a variety of seating options in an attempt to create more student choice, honor all learning styles, and decrease the amount of distractions present in a traditional classroom setup. Having a variety of furniture enhances individual and group work while creating a calm atmosphere to focus in. Any help is appreciated! These kids are totally worth every penny.
