Students will have the opportunity to check these books out from my classroom library to read both in class and at home. As we have more restrictions in our school library, it is vitally important that students have access to high interest and diverse texts. I hope to use these books to ignite a love of reading in each of my students. I want them to see themselves in their reading and know that they are valued in my classroom. Representation matters, and I want my classroom library to reflect that.
