We had a lot of fun and challenges. This project really drove students to trouble shoot and work to figure out how to make it work. Although a small project, its impacts were mighty. Many students were successful in completing a bristle bots. \r\n\r\nWe have not yet used all the items. But we did use one of the flasks to do the egg sucked in a bottle container. Super fun experiment. We still have more STEM projects to go with this project. We varied our writing exercises throughout the year. These were used a bit later in the year. \r\n\r\nThe articles in the various issues are interesting and that gathered student interest. My initial thought was to use ACE for structured responses but I found that there were various writing prompts at the end of each article. \r\n\r\nThat was soooo much better.
