Each student has a circle to sit on which provides personal space for themselves and for others to prevent distractions. They love the vibrant colors with the black background. The students sit there when I give them whole group instruction during reading and during math. In addition, they love to sit on it when it is time for reading centers and read with a buddy. The students are able to focus on their own personalized learning. It has helped minimize distractions in our classroom.
