The most excitement has come in the last few days when I told them they get to take the plants home and I had my students do most of the work of passing out-they keep coming back for advice on next steps at home. One of my students finished the build in about fifteen minutes and was able to go around and help his classmates finish. It is supremely satisfying to me to see how their thinking has gotten deeper with targeted questions about the build process. \r\n We started doing races as an experiment this week and we will continue to gather data about the race process-finishing races with winners having a final race. The discussion centers around why would there be different results with the same cars. My students have contributed very good ideas.
