I knew that I wanted a hockey theme in my room to teach the students about teamwork and never giving up. \r\n\r\nI am thankful for the pencil bags, erasers, glue sticks, and pencils. I have a bag for each student to use every day. It holds two pencils, one eraser, and a glue stick. This way, they are always prepared with what they need. Since I am the Title 1 teacher, I pull groups for interventions. I am also only there for half the day. I say this because it helps you to know how important the pencil bags are. It gives my groups what they need that won't be used by other groups pulled into my room or the afterschool program. \r\n\r\nI am thankful for all of the books you have purchased for us. I am so glad that I am able to provide a range of books for students to read. Reading lets the kids learn, while also giving them a way to escape from everyday problems. \r\n\r\nThe kids love the Frootie Tooties. I use them as an incentive to come in and do their routines. If I see a student come in and get right to work with their warmups without being told, or being distracted, they get a piece of candy. \r\n\r\nEvery thing you purchased for us is more than enough.
