I am preparing my students to become writers in the twenty-first century by using and integrating technology in the class. We are going from using one-to-one technology in my classroom. This will give my student the ability to use Google Classroom in a way that they have never been able to before. All homework and assignments will be done within Google Classroom. Some of those assignments will need to be printed. Within our small school, the students have access to only one black-and-white printer. It is located in the computer lab, so the students have to leave our class and most likely disrupt other classes to get their work. Having our own classroom printer that allows for color printing would open up endless possibilities for my students.
