During whole group instruction, every student has the opportunity to actively respond to questions rather than only a few students answering aloud. When students write their answers on individual whiteboards and hold them up, teachers can quickly assess understanding across the entire class. This immediate feedback allows instruction to be adjusted as needed and helps identify students who may require additional support. Students are often more willing to attempt answers on a whiteboard because mistakes can easily be erased, which helps reduce anxiety and encourages participation.\r\nIn small group settings, whiteboards and markers promote collaboration and discussion among students. Students can work together to solve problems, practice skills, brainstorm ideas, and explain their thinking. The ability to write, erase, and revise responses encourages students to take risks and stay actively engaged in learning tasks. Whiteboards are especially helpful during math problem solving, phonics practice, vocabulary activities, and comprehension exercises because they allow students to practice repeatedly without wasting paper. The visual and interactive nature of whiteboards keeps students focused.\r\nSheet protectors also provide significant educational and financial benefits in the classroom. By placing worksheets inside sheet protectors, students can complete activities using dry erase markers, making the worksheets reusable multiple times. This reduces the need for excessive photocopying and helps limit the number of paper copies being made throughout the school year. Reusable materials save both paper and ink while also helping teachers prepare lessons more efficiently.","fullyFundedDate":1766158974828,"projectUrl":"project/wipe-it-down-in-2nd-grade/9742763/","projectTitle":"Wipe It Down In 2nd Grade","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Loredo","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6548628_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1759101195008","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6548628"},{"teacherId":10335911,"projectId":9865283,"letterContent":"It has been around two months since we received the charging station from Donors Choose. Since then, we have been using the charging station to charge our Chromebook in an organized, safe, and reliable manner. \r\nThe impact that this charging station has had on my students' daily learning is enormous because they can use the devices to access different educational applications, write essays, do research, and more, throughout the day since the Chromebooks are fully charged.\r\nAt the end of the day, we leave the devices in the charging station well organized, safely stored, and charging in preparation for the next instructional day.\r\nThis new addition to our classroom has made an enormous difference compared to before receiving the charging station when we were using surge protectors around the room to charge our devices.\r\nI believe that the charging station has facilitated the implementation of technology in the classroom through the daily use of Chromebooks and it supports my students in their learning using technology.
