We created a monthly Student of the Month bulletin board where we showcase students' pictures and celebrate their achievements. The mindset goal cards have been especially helpful in highlighting the habits and attitudes students can work toward in order to be chosen.\r\n\r\nMany of our students have difficulty telling time on an analog clock, so the detailed minute labels have been a valuable tool in assisting them as they practice this skill. Students were also excited to have visual fraction models to reference while learning the 7th grade curriculum, particularly when dividing fractions and applying those concepts to unit rates and real-world problems.\r\n\r\nWe are truly appreciative of all of these resources and the positive impact they have on student learning and confidence. We still have a few posters left to find space for, and we look forward to putting them to use as well!\r\n\r\nThank you again for your generosity—our students and staff are so grateful. 😊","fullyFundedDate":1761960005720,"projectUrl":"project/student-of-the-month-bulletin-board-supp/9558312/","projectTitle":"Student of the Month Bulletin Board Supplies for Student Council","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Hume","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10042081"},{"teacherId":8326729,"projectId":9722176,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous donation! My classroom now has flexible seating, comfortable chairs, bean bags, a rug, new lighting, and fidgets. This has all made a big difference for my students. They are using these resources every day to help them focus, feel comfortable, and engage more fully in lessons. For example, during our recent reading and group activities, students were able to choose a spot that helped them concentrate. It has completely changed the energy in the room.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, they were so excited and eager to try everything. Many of them found their favorite spots for learning right away. It was really nice to see them so engaged and happy in this learning environment.\r\n\r\nThe new setup is helping students stay focused, collaborate with peers, and feel a sense of ownership over their learning spaces.
