Since I had a limited supply of books, this will enhance my library. \r\nI have a student that was asking for Fly Guy books. He is learning to read better, but has been behind. These books in particular help keep him interested in reading because he is able to read them on his own.\r\nOther students will benefit from them as well because it will provide new books to the shelf. My students were thrilled to walk into our classroom and see that we had new seating options for them to choose from! They LOVE the stools and how colorful they are! We use the stools at the small group table when they work with me! \r\nThey also like the bouncy chair seat! We use this seat as a special chair as a reward in our room for good behavior and working hard. We receive five magazines each month, including one solely dedicated to science, that align very well with our science and social studies standards. It is so difficult to teach these topics in Kindergarten, and these magazines and online videos and games, make it fun and engaging. \r\nThe magazines and online learning take the topics to a deeper level than just discussing or reading about them. They provide games, pictures, vocabulary, videos that feel like a virtual field trip and help provide experiences that some children may not have the opportunities to experience otherwise.\r\nThe students love exploring the magazines and discussing the topics. We've recently read and explored life cycles of pumpkins.
