As they explore the materials, they work together to solve problems, think critically, and challenge their engineering abilities by designing and building objects inspired by the stories. The fairy tale sets, including The Three Billy Goats Gruff, The Three Little Pigs, The Gingerbread Man, and Rapunzel, have quickly become classroom favorites. Students love using the story pieces to recreate scenes, invent new adventures, and bring their imaginations to life.\r\n\r\nThe students also enjoy building with the Marble Run game. This engaging activity encourages teamwork, strategic thinking, and perseverance as they work together to design and construct towers. They eagerly experiment with different designs and enjoy the challenge of making the marbles successfully travel from the top to the bottom of their creations. For many of them, having their own set of tools felt like a special gift that showed them their learning truly mattered. These resources are making a huge difference. The dry-erase boards allow every student to show their thinking quickly, so I can see who's ready to move on and who might need extra support. During writing, the boards have turned brainstorming into an interactive group activity where ideas flow faster than ever. The clipboards have given students the freedom to move around, whether it's taking science observations outside or jotting down ideas during a gallery walk inside. They are more engaged and focused because they aren't tied to their desks.\r\n\r\nWhat's next? We'll continue using these resources daily as we tackle new challenges, writing projects, and science investigations.
