We take a few moments as a class to sing, cheer, and make that child feel extra special. It has become a cherished classroom tradition that my students look forward to all year long.\r\n\r\nThe first time I introduced the birthday cups, my students' reactions were priceless. Their eyes widened with excitement, and they couldn't stop smiling. Some students hugged their cups, while others proudly showed them to friends. One student told me, \"This is the best birthday ever,\" which truly showed how meaningful this small gesture is—especially for children who may not get celebrated outside of school.\r\n\r\nBeyond the excitement, these birthday celebrations have strengthened our classroom community.
