I decided to give my students the gifts of responsibility and accountability along with sound.\r\n They were taught how to use them, how to care for them, and how to store them. They understand that the pair of earbuds they are assigned is the only pair that they will use for the entire year. They are responsible for cleaning them and making sure they are properly stored and used. They got so excited that they even said, \"Nobody is going to bother mine! Therefore, understanding and reading what feelings look like, they can self-reflect and think on how their feelings are impacting their ability to be positive in school.\r\n\r\nAs the school counselor, reading is one on one discussion and sharing what they have read and how it relates to them.
